The sanctuary was filled with worship, thanksgiving, and anticipation as the congregation gathered to celebrate this milestone. The ordination service began with heartfelt praise, lifting the atmosphere into reverence and expectation.
Our lead pastor stood humbly before the altar, surrounded by elders, ministers, and the church family. With prayer and the laying on of hands, he was consecrated and affirmed in his calling. The anointing oil flowed as a symbol of the Holy Spirit’s empowerment, marking him for a greater dimension of service.
The message of the day emphasized that ordination is not about titles but about responsibility. As Reverend, he is called to shepherd with compassion, to preach with boldness, and to lead with humility. The congregation was reminded that this elevation is not only for the pastor but for the entire church, as we walk together in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Testimonies of gratitude and songs of celebration followed, as members rejoiced in seeing their pastor honored and set apart. Families, friends, and the wider community joined in thanksgiving, recognizing the significance of this divine appointment.
The service concluded with a powerful blessing, sending our newly ordained Reverend forth to lead with wisdom, courage, and love.
